Annette Morgan – award winning textile artist – in her Norfolk studio

About Annette Morgan

Annette Morgan is an award winning British textile artist.

For over 25 years she has travelled the world exhibiting her work, lecturing and teaching – including City & Guilds Diploma courses with Creative Stitch. Annette has now retired from most of her teaching duties, which means she has more time to concentrate on creating with textiles.

She does accept commissions, most recently from the National Trust at Sutton Hoo in Suffolk. She is designing a 13 metre wallhanging, which will be displayed in the Treasury of the revamped site, opening in 2019. You can find many of Annette’s creations – recent and past – displayed here on her website.

Annette is lifetime Honorary Member and past President of the Quilters’ Guild of the British Isles and founder of the Guild’s Contemporary Quilt group. She is also a qualified quilt judge and senior tutor for the Guild’s quilt judging course.

She is a co-founder and exhibiting member of Anglia Textile Works and a member of Tin Hut Textiles, exhibiting annually at Snape Maltings, Suffolk. She lives in Thetford, Norfolk.
